Had a great time here for two weeks. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Loved the pool. Lots to do for all ages- corn hole, putt putt golf, basketball, shuffle board, tennis, nice walking trails, horseshoes, Most sites were very roomy. We will be back
Spent weekend before Halloween camping the kids really enjoyed trick or treating and activities. The events for kids was awesome. The signage for loops, sites, electric/sewage was terrible. The sites are small uneven ground with tree branches that could scratch your camper and sites are first come first serve. The check in process was nothing like ever seen one person extremely slow. We had great time with family only available camp sites in area. Didn't use bathrooms or shower house had decent playground and activity center with pretty pond. Staff made us move car off of non existent grass only two cars to site because small sites hardly room for travel trailer and one towing. The water was yellow at our site our family camping next to.us water was fine. We used bottled water for cooking and coffee.
Nice stop off the beaten path. A loop is good for satellite reception, C loop is more woodsy. Bathhouse is clean and well maintained just as the rest of the grounds are.
Very money hungry. Very strict on pointless rules. They will nickel and dime you for everything you have. They will tel you one thing then charge you for something else. People speed up and down roads. Water has barely any pressure. Gate doesn't even work half the time you spend 15 minutes waiting to even get in the park. Sign in is the same place as enterence so if they have people signing in and doing paper work u can add another 15 minutes of wait for each person signing in. I wouldn't recommend staying at this location or supporting the money hungrieness of the owners.
Not at all what was on there web site ! Not at all. Place was kinda hard to fine, was way out away from anything . Lake was not swimable, 3 canoes they didn't look like they would get you back to the shore, little store they had was close hot tub looked dirty pool was locked up with chains, Putt-Putt nah don't think so. Bathrooms was out dated NO doors on the showers just shower curtain. We paid for full hookups got there was only 2 spots for us to choose. The other site with full hookups was blocked off for some reason? Not workable! The only spot we could get had a ditch on half the driveway for us to back our camper in ! So next morning we got up went look to see if it was anything to do & found all the things I said at the beginning so we packed up & left. Not worth the time 1 1/2 hours it took us to get there & the money ! So if you think you liked to go my advice is go LOOK BEFORE YOU GO !
